WOW!!! I was so lucky to find Ashonti for my wedding makeup. I immediately felt at ease with her, and her work is beautiful! Leading up to my wedding, I had multiple facials and a brow lamination with her, which were all fabulous! She is so funny and kind, and obviously so talented. The day of my wedding, Ashonti arrived early, and was really flexible with us with our chaotic timeline (there was rain!). She did myself, my sister, and my mother in law's makeup, and everyone looked gorg. She even got trapped in the house because of my first look and she just rolled with it. I will definitely be returning to Ashonti for other services, and I truly can't recommend her enough. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful, and that is truly priceless!

Ashonti has been absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to go back for more services. I got my lashes and eyebrows done for the first time and wanted to make sure I went to someone who would do the process right and not leave me open to irritation or infection. She took her time and I got exactly what I wanted (which was great considering I had no clue what it would look like because I hadn’t had the process done before). It feels amazing to have ready eyelashes and brows in the morning! I also got makeup services for my graduation and OMG I felt amazing. I shared some of my inspo pics and Ashonti delivered. I felt so beautiful and beamed during graduation. Makeup lasted ALL DAY and I love that it complemented and made my tunniit (Alaskan Native facial tattoos) stand out.

I hired Ashonti for my daughter in law's wedding. We had 6 bridesmaids that needed makeup done and the MUA that was previously hired, completely backed out a month before her wedding. To my surprise, Ashonti was available and I wasted zero time paying my deposit. She made the long drive to the venue, dressed very professional and was so enjoyable and fun to work the bride invited her to stay for her wedding & reception. Not only that, but the bridesmaids makeup looked stunning. She also stayed to do my makeup. I knew she was talented as her work history is with MAC, I just didn't realize how phenomenal she truly was. She did not disappoint. A few months later Ashonti also did the makeup for a friend of mine for a photoshoot. Talk about WOW! I honestly cannot rave enough about her. I’ve known Ashonti for a few years now and worked with her on quite a few projects that required her makeup expertise, and she always made our models stunning. It’s why I always returned to her to ask her to work on my projects. I also always refer my friends to her whenever they’re looking for a MUA. Recently, I wanted to get a one-on-one makeup tutorial so I could do my own makeup at my sister’s wedding. I showed Ashonti what kind of look I wanted to achieve by sending her photo inspo, and we got to work. She is so patient and encouraging, and showed me what products I needed and did the makeup on half my face step by step and had me replicate on the other side. After the lesson, I felt confident that I’d be able to do this on my own. My sister’s wedding was just this past weekend, and I executed my makeup look just the way I wanted! I have to say, my makeup looked better than my sister’s and the other bridesmaids. 😳 And theirs were all professionally done as well. Their makeup was all cakey immediately after their application, but mine looked so great, and like a second skin. It held up for 10 hours and didn’t budge at all! Even though I was sweating profusely for hours and sobbed a ton. It was honestly a miracle I didn’t look a mess! I am beyond elated that my makeup looked great and was so resilient! Going to Ashonti was the best decision honestly, because I now know a thing or two about makeup application! Honestly, the most valuable lesson is learning a little color theory from her! Knowing what works best for your skin tone, and what type of product for you skin type as well. She’s just so knowledgeable. I cannot rave about Shonti enough! She is such a talented and wonderful person. I was hesitant to get my makeup done for my wedding but am SO glad I did. I rarely wear makeup so I was worried it would be caked on and not feel like myself, that was not the case. She truly listened to what I wanted and didn't want. She was also really flexible with timing and location and she also did makeup for others who were all happy with her work. I was so glad we had a trial run and that's when I especially knew I was in good hands. The trial made me even more excited for the actual wedding day and I knew there was nothing to worry about. I felt like me but very elevated. The makeup looked natural and Shonti kindly gave me to-go makeup for upkeep throughout the event. Although it was over 100 degrees that day, my makeup stayed on all night, even with hours of dancing. All in all Shonti was amazing!

This was my first facial, and to say I am pleased at choosing Ashonti, is an understatement. She gave me a complimentary scalp massage for being a first time client. I am typically a very awkward person and don’t know how to engage in conversation, but her whole vibe was it for me. We had 10 people needing make-up done that day and everyone looked incredible, even at the end of the night after all the crying and laughing and dancing was over. Ashonti helped me out today! I am a professional makeup artist, I work for a wedding company called Blossom & Beauty. I was really thankful she helped me today as I’ve been trying to expand my makeup kit to accommodate all skin tones! She was very knowledgeable and took her time showing me lip shades, concealers, and a contour palette that would be suitable for clients with deeper skin tones. I also came in with a lipstick shade I got by mixing two lip colors that I needed and Ashonti matched them to an actual lipstick for a bride.
